Domaine Laudonie: an oasis of greenery, peace and serenity just 2 hours’ drive from beautiful Bordeaux and historic Limoges.

Situated on a ridge and tucked among wooded hills, this 53-hectare estate promises breathtaking views at all hours of the day. With forests, meadows and valleys as far as the eye can see, this location offers a complete disconnect from everyday life. It is one of those places where you can fully enjoy a holiday or midweek, but where you can also go for an inspiring meeting or unforgettable ceremony.

Stay overnight

Around the estate’s beautifully landscaped courtyard are four towers, an impressive main building and a barn. The main building, the Manoir, has six double rooms each with its own bathroom and toilet, a fully equipped, large kitchen and cosy living areas. The Towers North, East and West each accommodate two people where there is also a kitchen and bathroom here. During the winter months it is extra cosy in the living room with wood-burning stove. Finally, Tower South complements the other buildings with four extra beds and a bathroom. Added bonus: each flat has its own private terrace where you can soak up the southern sun.

The estate was restored over seven years with respect for its original structure and using materials from the immediate area. Under the direction of Belgian architect Stephane Boens, the monumental and impressive character of the building was preserved. Hostess Fanny Van Herzeele brought the interior back to life with her passion for design and some unique second-hand finds. The result is a cosy and serene style that makes you feel right at home.

Events, ceremonies or teambuilding at a unique location

Looking for the ideal setting for a ceremony, board meeting or reception for a small group? On the estate you will find an authentic barn including a large, professional kitchen. With facilities such as a beamer and sound system, it is also an ideal place for meetings or brainstorming. The large windows in the multipurpose room ensure that the surrounding nature is brought inside here too.

To do

There is plenty to do both on and off the estate. You can relax by the swimming pool, on the petanque court or on the tennis court. In addition, the pool house also houses a large sauna. Wander freely around the gardens of the estate and discover the green oasis within the walls of Laudonie. Located in the middle of the Dordogne region, Laudonie is also the perfect base for various cultural and sporting activities. Historic towns, imposing castles and museums are just a few kilometres from the estate. The region is also ideal for hiking, cycling, golfing or kayaking and promises spectacular natural sights every season.

Laudonie offers 8 covered and 8 uncovered parking spaces. The surrounding meadow can always serve as additional parking in case of an event. There is also a charging station for Tesla cars.
