‘t Convent is the perfect event location for those who love grandeur and exclusivity in a lovely green setting.

Despite its well-known name and rich history, ‘t Convent stands out as one of the newest and most modern venues in Flanders for events from 100 people.

In the eighteenth century, a French monastic order lived here. Later it became a farm and even for a while the home of artist José Vermeersch. ‘t Convent subsequently gained great fame through the famous guests that the former hotel/restaurant was allowed to receive there until 2018. In 2020, the new owners decided to completely renovate this unique location in picturesque Lo-Reninge. The result is stunning. You will find tranquility, authenticity, grandeur and perfection. At ‘t Convent they really think of everything. Even the landing spot for your helicopter.

‘t Convent is the ideal location to organize your dream wedding or event in complete freedom.

In ‘t Convent you have four party rooms at your disposal that can be rented individually or combined.

  1. Vleterenzaal is a spacious and bright banquet hall – suitable for 280 to 420 people – with a beautiful view of the garden and vineyards. Outdoor receptions can take place on the covered terrace. This ultramodern wing was only added to the historic building in 2020 and is therefore the dream ’empty box’ for event planners and party architects.
  2. Lo-Reninge Room is distinguished by its authentic, rural character. This cozy room is equipped with a sound system and adjoining kitchen and can accommodate 180 to 270 people. Thanks to the movable acoustic walls, both rooms (Vleterenzaal & Lo-Reningezaal) can easily be transformed into one large space.
  3. Very unique is the Crypt. This 18th-century cellar was invisibly converted into a hypermodern location where light, air and sound are always in balance. You have access to a light and sound system, spacious bar and DJ booth. The Crypte is ideal for receptions or networking events for up to 120 people.
  4. The Cellarium is the smallest room (50 people) and exudes coziness and authenticity because of the construction of vaults that carry the floors and walls above. This room has a separate (household) kitchen and its own sound system.

Luxurious guesthouse

The former hotel also underwent a total metamorphosis and was converted into a luxurious guesthouse with 8 rooms from 2 to 20 guests.
