The story surrounding the castle has today started a new chapter in view of the new spatial development. The Castle as well as the accompanying Coach House were restored in close cooperation with the preservation society. The most innovative interventions were deployed to sustainably meet today’s environmental and climate requirements. For example, a proven air purification system was implemented and geothermal heat pumps provide renewable energy. The surrounding greenery has also been brought to fruition in its former and lush glory.

With this history and peak restoration, we bring all kinds of events to a high standard. Our aim is to meet your needs and provide an unforgettable day.

This adventure starts with a comprehensive tour where all possibilities are explained. The castle has six rooms available on the ground floor, which ensures a lot of diversity. Each room is a new discovery for your guests and we are happy to fill them in, in consultation with you. The coach house has a spacious ground floor and first floor. The best of both worlds is created by combining the coach house and the castle. The special contrast between the historic and the modern creates a high-quality experience.

Capacity of the domain is very diverse. Our trump card, of course, is that we offer two locations. In The Coach House, you will enjoy a modern setting with a view of the unique Castle. In The Castle, you are surrounded by historic spaces. The rooms in both The Castle and The Coach House are always linked to each other via an opening or double doors. This creates a social concept where guests can discover different spaces.

The castle contains 7 rooms on the ground floor, each with their unique historical features. The reception area and halls complement this perfectly. The standing capacity when using all rooms is 450 people. The largest room contains a capacity of 90 people. The seated capacity when using all rooms is 165, with the largest room providing 50 seats.

The Coach House contains two large rooms, i.e. ground floor and first floor. The standing capacity when using both spaces is 230 people. The ground floor contains a capacity of 130 people. The seated capacity when using both spaces is 120, with the ground floor providing 60 seats.

Thanks to the park, we are in a position to place a frame tent, stretch tent, etc. in case of larger requested capacity.

Blauwhuis Castle works with renowned caterers who know their way around our kitchens perfectly. They will be happy to work out a method with you that fits in perfectly with what you have in mind. Walking dinner, extensive reception, high-quality dinner and surprising concepts. The possibilities are endless. By exception, we work with a caterer suggested by the customer. Most importantly, quality is assured.

The castle has a loft on the first floor. This is the perfect space to offer the wedding couple or client a quiet place to prepare. There is also the possibility of staying overnight here. In case of desire for multiple rooms/breakfast, we collaborate with a local B&B.

Two spacious car parks are available close to the castle grounds. Parking is requested at Fire Brigade car park P1 in Dirk Martens Avenue 15, which has an availability of 80 parking spaces. Adjacent is the Goods car park which has space for about 200 cars. After that, it is only a short distance through our construction site, after which arrival at the domain. Should customers wish to cover this distance for guests and arrive at the front of the castle, we cooperate with a VIP Car Service or golf carts.

Preeminently, one of our unique assets is the restoration of historical buildings. Giving guests a waw feeling is possible in the rooms, without having to add much extra.
