On October 1st., a new Radisson Blu Hotel opened its doors in Lyon, France. This stylish and modern hotel is located on the upper floors of the iconic Part-Dieu tower, known locally as ‘Le Crayon’ with breathtaking panoramic views of the historic quarter of the city, the French Alps and Mont Blanc.

The opening of the new hotel represents an investment of more than € 40 million.
The Radisson Blu Lyon is an ideal place to stay for guests on business or leisure. Due to its strategic location close to the shopping and business district of the city, the hotel is also within walking distance of excellent transport links, including the Part-Dieu TGV train station just 300 meters away, next to La Part-Dieu shopping center.
In the lobby of the hotel guests are welcomed by a striking 18-meter high lighting installation, showcasing a beautiful atrium under the building’s glass roof. All 245 stylish and modern hotel rooms offer beautiful panoramic views over the city, and are equipped with all the comfort and technology that make a guest’s stay enjoyable, including free high-speed wireless Internet. The decor is neutral with color splashes of violet or saffron. As a tribute to the history and heritage of the city of Lyon guestrooms feature a specially woven framed silk.
The Celest® Bar and Restaurant of the hotel is influenced by a nomadic spirit, with a ‘cuisine du voyage’ on the menu card, inspired by international flavors. The seasonal menus of the restaurant, based on delicious local produce, offer a range of signature dishes. The Celest® Food Shop, located in the atrium of the hotel, offers a wide range of balanced snacks to savor on the spot or to consume elsewhere.
The hotel’s meeting space is located on the 32th floor and benefitting from natural daylight, including a stunning 360-degree panorama and high-tech equipment.
