The Hague is a wonderful event destination and is more than well equipped to turn any event into an outstanding one.
You have certainly heard of The Hague – it is always in the news due to the work of numerous international organisations and companies that are headquartered in this city. The Hague is the International City of Peace and Justice, the world’s legal capital, and the second seat of the United Nations. Every day, tens of thousands of people in The Hague are working together towards a better, safer and more just world. They work in hundreds of organisations, knowledge institutions, start-ups and NGOs as well as the Peace Palace – the symbol of international justice for more than 100 years.
You probably also know that The Hague is located in The Netherlands, a friendly and vibrant country in western Europe. Maybe you even know that the city is home to the Dutch Royal family and the seat of the Dutch government, and boasts a dynamic mix of beautiful historical architecture and a modern skyline.
But did you also know that The Hague is only a 30 minute train ride from one of Europe’s top airports – Amsterdam Schiphol? The city is so easy to reach from anywhere in the world and has an incredibly efficient and sustainable event infrastructure.
You are likely to be even more surprised that the city has a light and playful side to it – with beautiful sandy beaches, promenades, bars, restaurants and a vibrant cultural scene.
