Some venues sell themselves before you even walk in. Hangar 26 is one of them.
Situated on the Rijnkaai in Antwerp's Eilandje district, right on the Scheldt waterfront, Hangar 26 brings together three distinct spaces that each work independently or combine as a full venue buyout. For groups of 20 to 800, it is one of the most flexible event addresses in the city.
The spaces
FOUR is the restaurant. A generous, light-filled room with an open kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows and uninterrupted views over the Scheldt. Built for corporate dinners, product launches, walking dinners, receptions and full restaurant buyouts. Up to 300 standing, 100 seated.
The SOMMAR terrace is the outdoor centrepiece. Southwest-facing, with panoramic views across the Scheldt and the harbour, it is widely considered the most photogenic outdoor event space in Antwerp. Available for exclusive hire from spring through summer. Up to 300 standing, 120 seated.
The indoor event space is the most versatile of the three. No fixed identity, complete flexibility. A seated company dinner, a product launch, a temporary showroom, a presentation space: the room adapts to the brief, not the other way around. Up to 250 standing, 110 seated.
Combine all three and you have a full waterfront venue for up to 800 standing and 220 seated.
Food & beverage
F&B is handled by Chef Kenneth Weltens and his team. Italian-American soul food built on open-fire cooking, hand-made pasta and dishes that look as good as they taste. For events, the kitchen offers tailored group menus in sharing formats, fixed menus and cocktail bites. The bar programme runs on seasonal cocktails, signature drinks and fully customisable packages, from a welcome drink on arrival to a complete open bar for the evening.

On-site parking managed by Indigo, directly in front of the venue. In-house DJ options ranging from background music to a full evening set. On-site technical support covering sound, lighting and presentations. Tailored table styling adapted to the occasion.
Who it is for
Team dinners, business lunches, client events, product launches, MICE and corporate celebrations. Fashion shoots, press days, award ceremonies and pop-up dinners. The kind of space that requires very little additional styling and delivers a great deal on camera.
Hangar 26 is not a typical Antwerp venue. It is a waterfront address with three spaces, one kitchen and enough flexibility to take an event from brief to finish without compromise.
