Since early 2026, a fresh wind has been blowing through Hotel Jerom in Kalmthout. Pierre van den Broek and his team, known for B&B HVN10 in Stabroek, have taken over the hotel and are building on the strong reputation the family business established over the past years. The shared vision – hospitality, quality and sustainable growth – remains in place, with a refined, personal touch here and there.

There is extra attention for the business guest: breakfast is now served from as early as 6 a.m., the hotel works with multiple booking channels, and there are dedicated rates for long-stay visits of more than a week. At the same time, the homely, personal atmosphere that guests value so much remains fully intact.

With its prime location opposite the Kalmthoutse Heide, spacious modern rooms and a highly praised breakfast based on local products, Hotel Jerom offers a pleasant setting for both business and leisure guests.

The ambitions reach far: growing into a full three-star hotel, eventually taking the step to four stars, and obtaining a Green Key label. By continuing to listen to its guests, the team aims not only to maintain its high satisfaction scores, but to push them higher still.
