There is a life before the expedition. And a life after.
Element X organises wilderness expeditions for entrepreneurs, managers and teams. Not a standard adventure trip or a traditional team building, but an expedition that challenges you, pushes your limits and makes you grow as a person and as a leader. Our expeditions are developed by Koen De Leeuw, former Para Commando and known from the TV programme De Expeditie on Play. In the field they are led by our X Guides, a specialised team trained in extreme conditions and team leadership.

Preparation
An expedition requires preparation. Not only physically, but also mentally. That is why we provide a tailored preparation programme that gets participants ready for what is coming, and that sets the group dynamics in motion before the first step is taken. Our basecamp is Kasteel Borgwal in Gavere, twenty minutes from Ghent. This is where the kick off and the technical training take place.
Destinations
Where you go depends on who you are and what you are looking for. Element X is active in some of the most pristine places in the world: from wild Patagonia to mountainous Kyrgyzstan, the sand desert of Namibia, the Scottish Highlands and ice cold Lapland. For SMEs and corporates we also provide shorter training programmes in the untouched nature of the French Ardennes. Every expedition is built around the goal, the ambition and the experience level of the group.
What all destinations have in common is what the wilderness does to people. Far from screens, meetings and agendas only one thing counts: working together and pushing limits. You disconnect completely from your normal life and discover what you are truly capable of. Those are insights you get nowhere else.
