VISITFLANDERS present at IBTM World in Barcelona with New Promo Booth

From 29 November to 1 December, Tourism Flanders will be present at the annual IBTM World fair in Barcelona. This year, Tourism Flanders will show off a brand new VISITFLANDERS promo booth. This state-of-the-art exhibition booth won the award for best design at the World Travel Market. During IBTM World, Tourism Flanders and its industry partners will welcome key players from the international Meetings & Events Industry in booth number G70.

“Inquiries with our partners taught us that the booth needed to be a practical work environment more focused on B2B, thus less room for festivities, but more suited to establish useful contacts,” says Evelyne Bardyn, Senior Meeting Manager at VISITFLANDERS Convention Bureau.

It’s obvious the partners’ advice was taken into consideration since the new booth has clearly a more ‘open’ approach. With this new arrangement, this year’s promo booth will undoubtedly entice even more visitors. It has a slightly smaller surface (85m²), but it can be completely modulated according to the needs of the various trade fairs (WTM, Imex, IBTM) VISITFLANDERS will be attending. The booth can also be adjusted depending on the theme that is highlighted, i.e. Flemish Masters, Flemish cycling culture, Flemish gastronomy etc.

“It simply remains a welcoming setting”, assures Evelyne Bardyn. “During their appointments with our partners hosted buyers are still invited to enjoy a Flemish beer or taste our delicious chocolate.”

The number of Flemish and Brussels partners (16) present at the promo booth of VISITFLANDERS remains the same as previous years, albeit on a smaller surface. This ensures optimum efficiency. The partners do not have fixed seating, which also creates more dynamism on the booth platform.
