Ook voor ons team was het “ not a normal day at the office “.

A day no one in Belgium will ever forget…  It was not a normal day at the office for our team and we decided to offer our help in the gymnasium of Zaventem and Brabanthal in Leuven. For two days we worked to help the stranded passengers from the airport. We mainly dealt with providing hotel rooms for the airlines, translating messages, providing sandwiches, dividing people onto shuttle buses and also bringing people home…

We were pleased to contribute in any way possible to the much larger operation. We also want to draw attention to the professionalism of the town of Zaventem and to the many citizens who spontaneously came to offer their help! The solidarity was heartwarming and we have learned so much.

We would also like to thank the different hotels which offered their help: Ramada Plaza, Van Der Valk , Radisson Blu Astrid te Antwerpen, Van der Valk Diegem en Country Yard Brussel.

Despite the recent terrorist attacks, we will never submit to fear or distrust. On the contrary, we are even more determined to do what we love: partying, enjoying life, practicing sports and being together with the people we love. That’s why way2events supports the campaign #WeLoveLive. ACC Belgium, the association of Belgian communication agencies, asks to share your photos and videos of live experiences. We want to show the world that this is the best, most constructive pathway towards a positive society.

Ce fut pour notre équipe : “ not a normal day at the office “.
