Planckendael – Corporate events in a green, adventurous setting
Are you looking for an original venue for your personnel function, customer day or other corporate event? Planckendael, the zoo in Mechelen, offers unique settings for a wide range of purposes. It is a dream venue for personnel functions, meetings, presentations and receptions.

Multipurpose event premises
The well-known Event Green in Planckendael, the ‘Family Green’, features a stylish Event Hall. The hall measures approximately 750 m² and its many windows ensure that your event will be bathed in light. The comfortable, brightly-coloured seats and tables in zebra veneer give your activity a contemporary character.

A green and sustainable setting
This event venue is surrounded by plenty of green space to organise your activities and entertainments. The green extends over approximately 3,000 m² and can be made completely private. A horse and carriage can set off from here for a ride through the zoo, our guides can welcome you here for a guided walk, and so on. For really large events, an extra aluminium frame structure measuring 1,000 m² can be erected.

Catering
Planckendael has outstanding catering with suggestions to suit your specific requirements. How about a crackling barbecue or a sparkling reception? Or a quick lunch so that you have plenty of time to look round the zoo?
