Last year’s successful Paris climate conference ended with a worldwide agreement between 195 countries. Flanders has also fully committed to achieving the targets. As the Flemish Government’s long-term partner (for the Mobility and Public Works department), Act!events organised the ‘Mobility, Logistics and vehicles Climate round table’, among other things.
130 representatives of companies, stakeholders and environmental organisations were invited to Antwerp for a day of presentations, workshops and brainstorming sessions. Objective? Generate ideas and solutions from different angles as to how Flanders is able to achieve the climate targets in the field of logistics, mobility and vehicles. In the presence of ministers Ben Weyts and Bart Tommelein the ideas were also presented to the whole group in detail.
Act!events was responsible for the efficient organisation of the event which included various rooms in simultaneous use, catering, registration, technical and logistics support, etc. Naturally we kept our ecological footprint to the bare minimum and worked with local suppliers, eco-friendly materials, etc.

Act!events gaat voor groen met de Vlaamse Overheid!
De succesvolle Klimaattop in Parijs eindigde vorig jaar met een wereldwijd akkoord tussen 195 landen. Ook Vlaanderen zet zich volop in om de vooropgestelde doelstellingen te behalen. Als vaste partner voor de Vlaamse overheid (Departement Mobiliteit en Openbare Werken) organiseerde Act!events daarom onder andere de ‘Klimaatrondetafel Mobiliteit, Logistiek en voertuigen’.
130 vertegenwoordigers van bedrijven, stakeholders en milieuorganisaties werden in Antwerpen uitgenodigd voor een dag vol presentaties, workshops en brainstormsessies. De doelstelling? Vanuit verschillende invalshoeken ideeën en oplossingen genereren rond hoe Vlaanderen op vlak van logistiek, mobiliteit en voertuigen de klimaatobjectieven kan bereiken. In aanwezigheid van o.a. minister Ben Weyts en minister Bart Tommelein werden de ideeën ook uitgebreid gepresenteerd aan de hele groep.
Act!events zorgde voor een vlekkeloos verloop van het evenement waarbij verschillende zalen simultaan actief waren, catering, registratie, technische en logistieke ondersteuning, … Uiteraard schonken we hierbij de nodige aandacht aan onze ecologische voetafdruk met lokale leveranciers, milieuvriendelijke materialen, …

Act!events passe au vert avec le Gouvernement flamand!
Le sommet de Paris sur le climat a été couronné de succès et s’est clôturé par la signature d’un accord mondial entre 195 pays. La Flandre aussi s’engage pleinement en vue d’atteindre les objectifs fixés. En notre qualité de partenaire permanent du Gouvernement flamand (Département Mobilité et Travaux publics), Act!events a organisé la ‘Table ronde sur le climat mobilité, logistique et véhicules’ dans cette optique.
Quelque 130 représentants d’entreprises, de parties prenantes et d’organisations environnementales étaient invités à Anvers pour une journée riche en présentations, ateliers et séances de brainstorming. Son but ? Générer des idées et des solutions sous différents angles quant à la manière dont la Flandre peut atteindre les objectifs climatiques sur le plan de la logistique, de la mobilité et des véhicules. En présence e.a. des Ministres Ben Weyts et Bart Tommelein, les idées ont été exposées à l’ensemble du groupe de manière détaillée.
Act!events s’est chargé du déroulement sans faille de l’événement, au cours duquel plusieurs salles étaient occupées simultanément, catering, inscriptions, assistance technique et logistique… Bien entendu, nous avons également prêté toute l’attention nécessaire à notre empreinte écologique, en travaillant e.a. avec des fournisseurs locaux et des matériaux respectueux de l’environnement…
