The Docks Dome, a popular venue for Awards ceremonies, has been chosen to host the Great Place to Work® Awards 2019!
This event was organised by the Great Place to Work® Institute in close collaboration with the Vlerick Business School, a business school in Leuven and Ghent. The ceremony rewarded the best workplaces in Belgium.
The companies were judged on various criteria related to the quality of the workplace, based on 48,000 interviewees. During the ceremony, 20 companies were elected “Best Place To Work in Belgium”. Among these were EASI, Torfs Camp; McDonald’s Belgium. 24 other organisations also received a Great Place to Work® certificate, in recognition of their good working practices.
Finally, three companies were honoured with an extraordinary award: Protime won the “Authentic Communication” award, Ormit was awarded the “Continuous Learning” award, and the SAS Institute received the “Strong Synergy” award.
The 400 guests began their evening with a walking dinner, followed by the Award ceremony. During the meeting, guests were treated to a presentation by keynote speaker Peter De Prins, Professor of Management Practice in Coaching at Vlerick Business School. The highlight of the evening was of course the presentation of the various prizes, which was a joy for all.
