I am always looking for new unique locations in Mallorca because I am toying with the idea of organizing a #micellorca cycling from hotel to hotel for the next edition.

This hotel with 15 rooms has surprised me so much, it can hardly be more authentic.

You must climb a bit to reach it, but as soon as you arrive you immediately find yourself in a peaceful environment, all this topped with a breathtaking view of the Puig Major and Port de Soller.

I had reserved a table at Barretes Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant runs separately from the hotel. Outside it is extremely cozy, the lunch was more than excellent. In good company, albeit with a splendid panorama. The view of the mountains is impressive.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly, anything asked was never too much for them. A small hotel, but where hospitality is highly valued. About the room … or should I say suite. I was offered the honeymoon suite, with a terrace the size of the suite itself and equipped with a dining table, sofa, and sunbeds. From the morning onwards the sun welcomes you until it sets.

The room is also very authentic, with an antique tub as an eye-catcher. But also equipped with a shower, minibar, sofa, four-poster bed. A honeymoon suite indeed. I had time after lunch to explore the domain, since the hotel has many hidden corners.

There is also an infinity pool with stunning views over the Serra Tramuntana. It is a pity that I could only stay for one night. I will have to return because this unique location is worth staying a few nights! Before I drove to the next destination, I had a nice breakfast in the outdoor garden. I left with regrets, and was kindly greeted by the receptionist, originally from Mechelen, Belgium. She told me she started working in the hotel 22 years ago. How could she not … – Wood Approved!
