Coeur d’Artichaut – Gastronomic Restaurant in Ghent

The restaurant’s name was inspired by its location on the Korenlei, where the grain quays used to be, and by the fact that it was installed in a former 16th -century merchant’s house. The interior reflects the atmosphere of a classic merchant’s house, interspersed with modern details and a design that meets contemporary global culture’s needs.

Guests of the restaurant are not served in one big dining room, but rather in 4 smaller separated rooms, each with its own character, which creates an intimate atmosphere, comparable with a family setting. Moreover, these separate rooms are the ideal scene for undisturbed discussions with a small group, both privately and businesswise. The rooms that are not adjacent to the water provide a nice view on the chef in his kitchen.
